The one in your link is 1080P vs 1600P and has poor audio plus needs a micro SD card.
i saw the review on Dash Cam Talk and was waiting for the $139.99 price to come down, When it went to $88 on a lighting deal with $8 off coupon I bought it,

Probably it is due to brand recognition(sold in US market recently). I did a research a while ago for dash cam. Ddpai is quite well known in Asian and Europe. Based on the reviews from YouTube and other sources, I go for a mini3, maybe should have gotten the mini2p because of the lower price. They are pretty much identical in 1080p recording, which is what I need.
From what I read, mini2p may have some problems on crash SD card over time, only for certain brand or low end SD cards. If I get a Samsung evo or sandisk endurance series card , it should be fine. Mini3 has latest hardware and built in Emmc . I am a bit too lazy to shop around , so go for the latest and higher price. I certainly expect an good outcome even for a $83 dashcam. Lol

1. Can you spin the camera around while recording to get a view inside the car or out the back window?
2. While hard wired, it says the parking mode takes one frame per second. Is that constant or when activated by shock? Does it turn off after time or based on battery draw?

2, You need their special $35 cable (Requires DDPai Hard Wire Kit (ASIN:B079KZ4DH3), sold separately) to hard wire it for the parking mode to work. The time lapse is constant. The cable shuts off the camera based on battery voltage. You can set it for 12.4, 12, or 11.8 volts.

From the videos I have seen I wouldn't get this if you need parking mode. People can walk by your car and damage it and you won't see it or see a blur of a person. I'd get one that triggers on impact.

A $140 1600P capacitor dash cam with an operating temperature of 176 degrees F and built in 32 GB memory so no issues with memory card failure as well as a sleek discreet design on sale for $82 and you say it is a joke?
The best dash cam is worthless if the memory card goes bad when you need it the most.

it records when and where things happen.
it automatically sets up your time and zone .
it labels everything with accurate location, speed , direction and timing,
the dashcam's purpose is to record where/when/what happens ...without GPS it almost is useless
