From what I can gather, the difference between the H500 and H500i are:

-vertical GPU mounting option ( requires the purchase of a PCIE riser adapter)
- 2 Hue+ RGB led strips (Hue+ is NZXT proprietary hardware, connectors are not universal)
-Nzxt smart hub (fan & led controller)
