Get Harbor Freight coupons
Deal Details

About half a year ago Harbor Freight recalled their trailer tires and stopped selling all their trailers.
There are practically no trailers that come anywhere close to even the full price of the Harbor Freight trailers anywhere I looked.
I've even seen old Harbor Freight trailers on Craigslist selling for the full retail price during this period.
I ended up getting a different smaller trailer on Craigslist that I had to completely rebuild for about the price of these a few months ago.
Coupons for these trailers may be coming eventually.
Northern Tool also had a folding trailer that was taken off the shelf that has returned. They may have had more that I just didn't notice.
1090 lbs. Capacity 40-1/2 in x 48 in Utility Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $290
1195 lbs. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Heavy Duty Folding Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $350
1720 lbs. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Super Duty Folding Trailer [harborfreight.com] - $450
Ironton 4ft. x 8ft. Folding Utility Trailer Kit — 1170-Lb. Load Capacity [northerntool.com] - $450
(Slickdeals only let me select the images of the Northern Tool trailer for the post)

There's really nothing to it but a box frame and axle, so apart from crummy bearings and maybe tires, I'm not sure how "garbage" would really apply to the safety of steel that is bolted together.
Don't listen to this guy. These trailers are some of the best value around.
I guess facebook marketplace and Letgo are immune to that kind of stuff. I've said it a dozen times now that I'd take ANY CL inconvenience if I didn't have to deal with the horrible interfaces at FB and Letgo.
And I'm not sure what a "few extra bucks" are to you, but I've transacted tens of thousands of dollars via CL over the years and have had zero problems, apart from lowball offers and no-shows.
Had a little rust, good tires, new LED lights. He lives about 1 mile from both a Home Depot and a Lowes and uses it for hauling wood, block, gardening stuff, speeds are 35mph and lower.
Great for it's application,
Just be sure to get rid of all lube on it, repack the bearings etc.
So, you have a better option since backpage has been shut down?

I dont see why the cheapest one one work. I checked the site, but didnt see any speed ratings for these. Anyone know?
Edit: Found it in the manual, says do not exceed 45mph for the smaller one.

Good for you!
Our local police station had to dedicate a special building for local sale(s) transactions to take place in because it was easier and cheaper than trying to find people that post expensive items for cheap, assault the buyer when they show up and steal their money they came with to purchase said item. Situation(s) similar to that were happening so frequently, that they took measures. Yes, people are dumb and will agree to meet up in dark alleyways to make deals under the tables instead of meeting it a well lit public place to make the transaction, you could even argue that if they are that dumb, maybe they deserve it....But the police decided it was so much of a problem and they can't choose whether or not to investigate the crime, so they spent money on a building to try to encourage people to do their transactions there. Someone was actually robbed in the parking lot of this building recently, lol.

That's why we have a 2nd Amendment.
I've sold 10's of thousands of dollars worth on CL and never had an issue.
But I'm not a victim by nature so that helps.
(I'm a sheepdog and not one of the sheep... some here will understand that)

I go up to 65mph with the smallest HF trailer with 12" tires.
