I bought 2 of these and one pan cam a few weeks ago. I bought them a week out before I went on vacation with the hopes that they'd arrive in time before I left... they didn't! Made me wonder why I paid so much for shipping on these.
I'm not happy with these - even for the price. Half of the time the app won't connect with the cameras and I have to power cycle them from time to time. They're just not that reliable. I had better luck with some old, cheap android phones using Tinycam.

That bad? Dang I was debating on picking these up for cheap indoor security.

To be fair, I just got a firmware udate for the v2s last night, so we'll see if things improve. On one of the cameras I could never get motion detecton working, but it started working after the firmware update.
Right now I have them aimed out of windows to give me faux security until I can get some Arlo's or Blinks or something like that for outside. Then these will be my vacation cameras for spying on the cat. My android phones finally died so this isn't a total waste for me.
Honestly, if it weren't for all the great reviews then I might not be so disappointed in them - and the shipping is too slow for the price paid.
I have one of the v2 and another pan cam. Both are great for the price. Sometimes I get authentication error but the next try would login properly. It needs authentication again when you switch camera view, but it is fine knowing that it does authentication properly.
It accepts microSD for playback, 15 sec cloud recording and does notification when it detects motion and other alarm.

Sold my blinks last night (3 camera indoor system) and bought 4 of the pan cams. These seem to be much better in quality from what I've seen. I hope they make an outdoor version of some sort.

The quality of the video is good too. It's listed as an indoor camera, but as long as it's not directly in the elements, it works fine outdoors.
The morning detection videos only record up to 12 seconds. Also I've tested the motion detection and there is at least a 5 second last when recording.
I have 3 Arlo in the house and there is no last with those. I can see before the action is detected with those.
With the v2, it's like 5 seconds AFTER the action happens.
After testing one I would not but another. Just my opinion.
