You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?
Just bought this game for the switch, I have no idea what I'm supposed to do.
Grab a hoe, till the earth, plant the seeds you were gifted, start cleaning your land, talking to people and explore. Great fun, very Harvest Moon style game.
This has been $8.99 a few times in the past on Steam.
Yea Ive been waiting for the $4.99 or less mark, but I might pick it up next time it drops to that $8.99 or less mark. Seems like a nice little time dump / grinding game. Also really want to pick it up for the Vita too, but it seems like it never goes on sale in the PS store.

Me too. It is cross-buy on Vita and PS4, first sale for under $10 and I am all over it.
I've got about 60 hours in on PC. Left for vacation on Saturday, purchased for Switch on Monday night. I've clocked probably around 15 hours on there so far.
PC is definitely the better platform for it overall, but you can't beat bringing the Switch out on the porch after the kids go to bed and farming away a few hours of your life a night.

Watch some tutorials online, before you start digging. The game is very complex, something as simple as not recycling the grass you cut in the beginning of the game can make it hard on you later on.

Don't rush the game also. Takes most of the fun away that way. Either help the community center over time, or pay out of pocket for the jojamart.
