Everything is great until the battery in the remote runs out without warning. You are greeted with a very high pressure, cold, needle like spray in your butt. For the price is okay as long as you prematurely change the remote battery. Of course a TOTO is much better but the $800 price point is obviously much more. Costco used to carry this about six years ago.

Overall, its a good seat minus that biannual surprise.

Can't you just hardwire it so you don't get any surprises?

Sounds traumatic... thanks for the heads up.

The remote is pretty flimsy. Not sure how I would hardwire it especially because it says you have to point it to the black box on the right of the seat. I find that holding it in front of me is fine, but to my left where the wall would have it hardwired, it is not as receptive.
