I bought this last time, worked great from a normal use standpoint. I'd buy it again if I had a computer I needed to build. Alas, I must be good...
Only minor grief point is that the thermal paste on the back of the heat sink forces orientation such that when applied the logo ends up upsidedown in the computer relative to the motherboard (ASRock AB350M for reference), since most boards plug in on the right side facing left, not left side facing right as in the photo. A close look at the 2nd thumbnail shows exactly what I'm talking about on the board if you use the PCI slots as reference.

Will I noticed any diff between this and a 960 evo 500gb nvme? I only use it for gaming and regular browsing multiple tabs and small file transfers.
I doubt it unless you manage to thermal throttle it (and the heatsink will help a lot in that regard). I haven't noticed any differences between the various nvme drives I've bought.

Yeah the avg conumer wouldnt know the diff. But I still cant beleive I paid $200 for the 960 evo 500gb nvme a while back at Samsung site damn 🤦 ♂️
Although ssd price is kept dropping in past 2 month, this is still a great deal. I got this one when it first time came to $99 on urlhasbeenblocked few weeks ago and use it in my new build pc. works great. Much faster then my old sata ssd. This time it also could sold out really quick.
god damn, dont even have a computer for this...but bought it anyway. slickdeals life!!
Don't buy yet, if you don't have a computer that supports this. just wait until thanksgiving and this should be even lower and get a new computer at the same time
