Do I get the Nest 3 or Nest E, I just want to control my thermostat with my phone, I have no clue how to install these though, which one works with most homes?

I've seen offers for NY before. This is the first time I've seen an offer for north Jersey customers. I don't know all the energy providers in NY, so I could be wrong

I have a nest camera and to avoid paying $100/year I just make a new account every month with my catch-all personal domain address. Thus said, would make my life hell if I bought the nest thermostat. Just purchased an Ecobee lite and ecobee4. Already own two echo mini, so don't need that feature in the 4. Plan on selling it on eBay and making a few bucks. Slickdeal for sure and nice to finally see one of these listed in jersey!

does this need to get to shipped to the NJ address on the account that we will be using to order? Anyone know? Thanks!

Answering my own question - yes it needs to be shipped to the service address per online chat. Didn't take any chances got it shipped to my sister's address in NJ (the account that qualifies).

Got charged tax on the pre-rebate amount though! Got 2 ecobee 3 lite's for $38 but taxes were $22! Still an insane deal. Thanks OP!

There is no such monthly fee with the Nest thermostats.

It's not monthly, it's $100 yearly for the camera which is why I make new accounts solely for nest aware
