It's been fluctuating from 330-380 for awhile. For those that missed out on the amazon prime day $250 deal this is the lowest it's been since. I had been holding out but at this price point i bit. This sale is only for the Halo Gray color.

For the adventurous someone is working on porting google camera to essential ph-1. There are some builds already but needless to say it is a work in progress

Get a case - phone cracks and dies with a fall from one foot if it lands on the glass

Great phone at a great price. Android 9 Pie upgrade went out on the same day as Google Pixel phones which was pretty incredible.
Man, there are so many people on here that know nothing about the phone but want to hate it.

Battery is fantastic. Capacity is not what matters. It is a huge improvement to my S7 edge. One of the best I've used in terms of battery.

Build quality is fantastic. The titanium does scuff easily though.

Display is very good. It's an LCD, but the best I've used. I own an S7 edge and the PH-1 still has a great screen IMO.

Smoothest phone I've used. Extremely fast.

Camera is better than anything in this price range. It's not a Pixel 2. I'm not using the Google camera and for the most part it takes better photos than my S7.

Cell reception was truly awful on Tmobile. But since Android 9, it's been the same as my S7 edge. I've only used it for a day, but it's improved immensely.

I think that's everything?

Edit: Cons. Almost forgot.

Some screen input issues. Seems to have mostly cleared up with Android 9.

No good screen protectors. Although this is most new phones.

Glass appears to scratch extremely easily as noted by other users.

Lowlight camera is pretty bad. It just is. Better than before, but no where near Samsung/Pixel.

Brightness on Android 9, it doesn't get dim enough or bright enough.

Notch. I don't even really count this as a con, but some people do.

And lastly, weight. It is a heavy phone. No way around it.
Because this phone came out in 2017, and those specs aren't required for a solid phone? It's $279, can't complain about not matching Note 9 specs.

Yeah. I have the black and love this phone. Solid all around, even with camera fixes. I'd gladly buy another one of these over a $900+ flagship, just bang for the buck.

This phone reminds me of the earlier gen iPods. It's heavy and although theres like no bezels, the phone feels small. It's just really odd feeling in your hand. Great price though.

that's what I was trying to find out, this post nor the sales page lists anything. It's ESSENTIAL to have this listed.

Also, does anyone know if it'll work with Verizon?

Per Essential's website:

"Unlocked phone. Compatible with all carriers."

How is this in TMobile? No 600 band 71 it looks like. Looking to upgrade from a V20 but don't want to spend much before 5g phones are a reality
