I had seen this posted a week or so ago for the $189. I had thought the sams price expired sept 5th. Looking there, (not a sams member) I can just see that it says $40 off instant, but wont show the price unless I can login. Says through Sept 16th.

Can anyone or you tell if the $189 remains good till the 16th or if it'll be 40 off of a higher base amount after tomorrow? Or was the 5th never an end to the price?

Wish I'd known about the costco price. A coworker wants two of these as I have these as my primary monitors and they work great.

I would think that a 32" screen would be wasted on a 1080p monitor. No extra resolution, no real opportunity to show more applications simultaneously, just to make the display items on the same old screen a little bigger.

Those of you who have this, or are excited about it, what do you see as the advantage?

People that buy this might want a bigger screen that is more immersive for movies or games. Or they might have eyesight issues and don't want to wear glasses and they can make text bigger on a 32" screen.
