is this better then the Milwaukee 18v fuel version? seems like its almost same torque specs
Usually Makita comes out on top by just a little. But depends on the specific tool in the line.
But any of the big 3 are great and very close.
Makita, Milwaukee or Dewalt.
Got this today, what a great deal! These batteries are beasts, the 36v weed wacker uses them and now I have spares! Only one unit at my local store. Thank you op, you made my day!
Just curious, you all would consider Milwaukee above Ryobi?
Techtronic has 3 power tool lines. While there is some overlap between them, in order of good/better/best it goes Ryobi - Ridgid - Milwaukee. However, if you have to ask, you probably aren't a regular intensive user of power tools and, as such, Ryobi might be plenty of tool for you - especially their higher end models which compare favorably to low end Milwaukees.

Just note, the makita one includes 2x 5.0 batteries, while the milwaukee includes 1x 4.0 and 1x 2.0
