CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

Morkie? laugh out loud

I'm going to guess that's a Yorkie crossed with... Maltese maybe? Dontknow

Anyhoo, yorkies have some high-maintenance fur too but they're adorable. nod

Yep, wiki [wikipedia.org] says it's a Yorkie/Maltese. They refer to it as a "designer dog" shake head

Awfully cute though:

AWWWW a girl at work has a Morkie and she brings her in all the time. Maltese/Yorkie, what a total honey! And the dog looks EXACTLY like the picture. I'd totally call her over and show her but I don't want her to know I am SDing Roll

Dh's office has a shi-tzu cross up for adoption. I said Nono since LT isn't potty trained yet. Once the people are trained, we'll talk dogs.

I know you're talking cats here but I put this stuff [naturemoms.com] (pink bottle) in my dog's fur after I give her a bath and she doesn't get any mats. It keeps her coat shiny and soft and smooth... who'da thunk? laugh out loud

Bigeye I'm totally gonna get that, thanks! Emma's fur is so fine, she gets bad snarls.

my GF wants a yorkie of some kind
Tell her to get a shorkie! She can buy Emma and Rhys' little brother or sister! Whee

Want the breeder's info?

ok cultural sensitivity lecture for those who obviously need it:

99.99% of Asians don't eat dogs. I know Americans like to believe it because it's funny, but it's mostly untrue. Just like how 99.99% of white guys aren't serial killers or rapist, the vast majority of Asians have never eaten dogs. I heard it's gamey, tough, and chewy and just not a good meat for eating except in emergencies, similar to goat (which I also never tried).

BTW, that's where this whole myth comes from. After years and years of war paving through Asia, they had to go through every food source they can find to survive. They also ate wide animals. When you're in war and famine, you don't get so picky. I doubt any of you would have either.

Now, there are some dog restaurants in Asia. But those are mostly in the rural areas and not as wide spread as some of you might have heard in the past
