CVS Info:

First of all, you will need a CVS ExtraCare card. This is obtained easily at any store at the register. Some will ask you to fill out the form then and there, others will just give you the card and ask you to return the form later.

Once you have the card, you can now start CVSing

The biggest thing to understand is that CVS uses a promotional program called "ExtraCare Bucks" (commonly abbreviated as ECBs.) These print out on your receipt immediately once you purchase an item offering them; almost like an instant-rebate you get at the register. You can turn around and use them anytime on almost anything in the store, except for alcohol, cigarettes, and gift cards.

Often, CVS advertises items as "Free after ECB" – For example, throughout the month of November, CVS has Crest Pro Health Whitening Toothpaste in 4.2 oz size, for free after ECB. The cost is $3.49, but you get $3.49 back instantly on your receipt. The best part is that there are often coupons available that can actually help you earn money… like for the above toothpaste, there are $1 off coupons available, meaning the item would be $2.49, but you get $3.49 in ECBs back. The limit on this toothpaste for this month is 2. So if you wanted to start off small to get into CVSing, the thing to do would be to buy one toothpaste in the first transaction (and use a coupon if you have one, so that you either pay $3.49 or $2.49 in cash), then use the $3.49 ECBs you get back from that first transaction to pay for the second tube of toothpaste, and again, receive $3.49 more in ECBs.

The trick now is to roll your ECBs so that you rarely pay more than maybe a dollar or two in tax on transactions, instead using your ECBs from previous transactions… then earning more to keep doing the same. It's a cycle (and a game/addiction to some, lol.)

I like Febreeze a lot. It would rock if Febreeze smelled like Gain. Gain reminds me of my mom.

AW!! For me, it's Tide...and it reminds me of my grandmother. She had the best smelling laundry. I LOVED having my laundry done by her. It was always wonderful smelling, and soft, and perfect. I miss her. Weeping

I kinda liked it. I loved when the sock monkey tugged on Jason Bateman's arm. Awww!!! They came out with a bunch of old school toys when that movie came out. One of them was a replica of the Fisher Price clock that played "My Grandfather's Clock" when you wound it up. I cranked it up, and I was instantly in Colorado in front of the heater in my pink footie pajamas again. I started bawling and it cracked my DH up when I explained what was going on.
Blush I bought that one too. Same reason. My mom won't let me have mine from when I was a kid.

If some crazy person shows up with a hockey team worth of kids on my doorstep I'm kicking them in the junk. Girl junk, boy junk - I don't care. Annoyed

In other news... I trapped a cat in my back yard just now. The boys & I watched. It was kinda funny. laugh out loud That cat is MAD at me right now. DH is going to snip it and we'll release it. Don't know if he'll do that tonight or tomorrow.

Well... DH called. I'm going to toss the chicken in the oven and run the cat up to the office. Pray that my house doesn't burn down while I'm gone.

Our elderly neighbor feeds strays. They multiply - and are all over our neighborhood like vermin. DH is going to spay/neuter as many as we can catch and release them so we have a stable population.
