This is a very slow card by today's standards, only 30ish MB/sec write. The samsung U1 and U3 available on amazon for a bit more write at about 75MB/sec

Since someone is going to ask at these speeds, the switch will be more then fine. In fact the card is probably too fast for the switch so going anything faster would be a waste.

" The console only supports UHS-1 cards, which have a maximum possible speed of 104MB/s"
But will it play Crysis?

I bought one of these here on 08/14 for a RetroPie. It works fantastic. I just wish it could handle 4K in my Note 8 and Yuneec drone. I'm still picking another one up for my wife's phone. TU.

I would like to ask a couple things, in case someone knowledgeable about this stuff reads this and would be willing to reply.

First off, would a card like this work well/at all in a dashcam?

If it matters, I have an Anker ROAV C1 Dashcam.

Secondly, if a dashcam says that it accepts up to a 128GB microSD card, is it possible that a larger card like this will/might work? Or does it likely mean that there is no way it would work at all, because it is so large?

If someone would offer a helpful response, it would definitely be appreciated.

Check it using "SD Card formatter". I got three times from Amazon counterfeit microsdcards.all returned but feel sorry for my time.

I would not recommend this card for a dash cam. This is more suited for that purpose.

You do not need a high capacity card if you use "loop recording".

That's an issue with third party sellers, this particular one is sold & shipped by Amazon

Amazon does or used to keep everything in the same bin so it didn't matter who you ordered it from.
