I've been eyeing on some tools boxes/chests at my local Lowe's but they are only 25% off. Few went on to 50% off but those are ugly.

Not sure how it compares, but I picked this 347pc set up at 50% off last night. I havent used anything yet but just looking through the drawers it looks nice.

edit: I guess the ones posted are just boxes so theyre probably a lot higher quality than the one I posted that comes with tools.

Scored one for $21 in Bee Cave, TX. The item was out of box and was missing the 19" toolbox. Right next to it were a bunch of 19" toolboxes also marked down and the cashier tested for fit and marked the 19" down to $.01 so it would complete the tool chest set.

I was able to get the Kobalt 3000 #838496, 41x39 blue stainless steel tool cabinet for $92, and the Kobalt 3000 #875250 41×41 11-drawer cabinet for $83. You have to go to the store and look around. These didn't show up on the Brickseek search. Awesome deal for brand new tool cabinets
Are they emptying the Kobalt inventory for the Craftsman? I really like their 3000 series tool cabinets and chest drawers.

I was able to use a 10% coupon at the register. Ended up with the Kobalt 2000 Series 52-in W x 37.5-in H 9-Drawer Ball-bearing Steel Tool Cabinet (Black)
It was $199 - 10% . I also picked up some liners for the drawers which were $10 per roll

I got 2 of the 6 drawer stainless 27" bottom chests for $125 each on Saturday - normally $500 each. Been watching our local store - but they aren't marking anything down yet even though they told me they are not going to sell Kobalt any longer. So - eventually everyone should have them marked down.
