Today I received an email titled "Minniti v Tillys Class Settlement: Notice of Voucher Payment". In the email it describes that I have a voucher (coupon) for 50% off up to a $1000 purchase. It doesn't sound like there are any exclusions, although it is not stackable with any other coupons. It also explained that you can just show up to a store with the email and your email address, or log on (or create an account) to your online account and can use it online. Pretty weird, since I didn't even know about the class action, and definitely never signed up for anything about it. I did log onto my Tilly's account since I thought the email was fake and there it was, 50% off coupon $500 max discount on my account. Just figured I'd let you all know just Incase any of you have also got similar emails about this! I'm posting on the mobile app, otherwise I'd add a screenshot of the email.
I received the same email as well this morning . Also thought it was a scam as I didn't even know about the class action suit and I used to work for the company. I did log on to the account and I didn't get anything but I did receive the email so I'm very confused !!

Did you check rewards section in your account? I think it only work for regular priced items according to the terms.
hmmm i used a school email so i cant login into that email anymore.i got the actual lawsuit form just not the voucher coupon...i should've received one by mail by now.so i have no clue if they only send the coupon through email or not.if anyone knows plz lemme know real interested.
I'm writing a law that states lawyers in class action lawsuits must be compensated in the same method as class members. If the class gets coupons, so do the lawyers. It's also absurd to me a business can settle a suit in a way that basically generates MORE business. The first class action lawsuit I was ever a member of was against a certain telephone company and the compensation was $5 off your bill each month for a year, except that settlement required you to be a customer of the phone company, making it a very inexpensive way of customer retention or signup.
