Good deal for a french door fridge.

I don't know why anyone would buy one without water dispenser... specially if they buy bottled water, which just contaminates a lot
Some of us have separate filtration units for our water. In addition, water dispensers take up interior space and is another component that may break.

WARNING; LG makes Kenmore Refrig now, your lucky if they last 2 years. Read blogs on this brand and I'll guarantee you you will never buy this brand, ever. If you can't buy an extended warranty on any refrig then don't buy. Their disposable refrigs after two years. BUYER BEWARE, you've been warned! P.S. Samsung are just as bad.

BTW; Most components for refrigs are made in China and assembled in the U.S., hence American made????

Had my Whirlpool for almost 8 years now with no problems, not sure if they still make them that good.

I'm looking for one without dispenser for rental property. I pay the water bill. They can pay for their own water. On top of that u don't want people bothering me about water filters or why the ice machine broke.

I have this fridge and it's not "junk." BUT I do have a complaint about it - not enough shelf space. I fact, I had to take a shelf out so I can chill taller items (I like a pitcher of iced tea in the fridge, would never fit unless a shelf is removed). So now I only have 2 shelves, which is not enough space. Also, the shelving is weird in the freezer drawer....can't see what you have in the back unless you squat all the way down -- a little annoying. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars out of five.

I have a Kenmore fridge, and it throws a lot of false "filter errors". I have the 31cu.ft. one that I've had for around 5years, and every once in a while it gives me a warning saying the water filter needs to be replaced, and the water line isn't even connected yet. I've had some ice buildup problems in the freezer, but that's because sometimes my wife leaves the freezer a tiny bit open (not enough to trigger the alarm).

My mother in law got a new Kenmore fridge that has been nothing but problematic (moisture on the walls of the fridge) and had to be returned after two brand new replacements did the same exact thing.

Most refrigerator filter replacement indicators are on a fixed timer (typically 6 months), not based on usage or filter state.

If you're gonna say this, you've got to at least recommend brands worth supporting.

Everyone hates everything for appliances. There is no brand worth recommending. Even if you read consumer reports people are constantly bitching about every top rated product.

Just find a "top rated" fridge and look at the review spread. If you see something over 10% for 1 star reviews then just stay away.

Personally I would stick with Whirlpool or GE. Parts are cheaper and easier to find. Especially for fridge. You don't want to wait a month for a fridge part come in.
