U are comparing apples to bananas. No pun intended
Essential Phone is orders of magnitude slower and is soon to be no longer supported.
Not a bad deal for an Apple refurb. Keep in mind that very good (not mint) condition 7's can be found on eBay for $300. You can snap them up for $250 if you're very patient.

Pretty sad considering an Essential Phone with quad carrier Gigabit LTE is $339 brand new. Better modem, equivalent processor, and 4x the storage - not to mention a 360 camera add-on and amazing included USB-C DAC.

yup, check out swappa as well.

if people here are hoping for a price drop for older gen iphones, wait until the new models actually ship.

is 32gb a deal breaker?

What sellers are the best on ebay?
My last iPhone was an iPhone 5 which I used until last year and 32 GB was too little. For me, it filled up fast between apps, photos, and whatsapp backups.

After deciding to get an iPhone a year ago I thought the 7 was my best bet. Looked around for a deal but after weighing all the pros and cons I went with a refurb direct from Apple.

It has a year warranty, comes as new in a normal Apple iPhone box and most importantly; unlocked means unlocked. All CDMA and GSM. I paid around $570 a year ago so the drop is a tiny bit hard to take but the phone has been great. Probably going to get the 128GB version soon.

Also, check out the videos online that suggest the 32GB has a far slower write speed than the larger storage versions. Lastly, I have IOS 12 beta on mine just now. Runs great, zero issues, speed appears to be the same or a little faster.

Not sure about that deal.. Never purchased a refurb from Target, I have from Apple, and they are basically sealed new.
