I just installed this and it was fairly easy to reuse the 3-bolt mount from my old Badger 5. Just needed to cut the drain pipe to align it with my plumbing. Looks like it will be a significant upgrade.

I've replaced several Badger 5's, but I always reuse the flange.

This one looks close, but is not an exact match and has many one star reviews: https://www.amazon.com/American-S...B018A3DY4C
At least one of the bad reviews is because of a broken "easy mount" (not on Costco version) and was replaced by one from Costco: https://www.amazon.com/gp/customer-reviews/R3KFGP4DMKCUZM/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_rvw_ttl?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B018A... [amazon.com]
But a number of the one star reviews are for the Costco version and are worth reading. Thanks.
At the price I think this is hard to beat. I was waiting either for this or the Waste King Legend L-8000 which shows up for ~$85 frequently. The Waste King is probably a better choice based on reviews (but it lists for ~$170). Which brings me to my next point...
Regarding "if it ain't broke", if your disposal is well past warranty, showing its age, and lower power/quality to begin with I would recommend replacing it. Much better to do that at your own convenience rather than waiting weeks with kitchen cabinet emptied and sink/dishwasher leaking severely while waiting for a deal.
Installation was fairly easy. It was my first time replacing a garbage disposal.
This garbage disposal is taller than many others I was looking at. If you live in an older home, there is a chance it might not fit under your sink.
Somebody I know that renovates homes, told me that this is the best garbage disposal that money can buy. He uses these garbage disposals when it renovates homes. I agree with him, because this was the cheapest garbage disposal I was looking at, it has the best warranty (10 years), and it works better than the garbage disposals that are priced higher than this.
After using this for a year and a half, I would recommend this garbage disposal to anybody that needs one.
