Coupon code PICKSOON offers a 15% discount off a minimum purchase of $25, and is valid from 10:00 AM PT on September 27, 2018 until 6:00 PM PT on September 27, 2018.
  • One time use per account
  • Works on Buy It Now and Auction
  • Works on accepted Best Offers, too (even if accepted before 15% promotion starts), AS LONG AS buyer pays for item before coupon expires/promo ends. NOTE: Best Offers are active for up to 48 hours. If seller takes too long to answer (it happens) and accepts your offer after this coupon expires, you are still obligated to complete the purchase at the then-full $ amount of your offer.
  • Works on multiple items within a single transaction as long as it adds up to $25+
  • Will not work for multiple currencies mixed within a single transaction (e.g., dollar and yuan)
  • Will not work to purchase gift cards for eBay or other merchants UNLESS they are posted in an eligible category (not under "gift cards")

no, that's not how ebay bucks work. ebay bucks are assigned the moment you commit to buying or win an auction. even if you pay after the promo ends, you would have already earned those ebay bucks.

what i'm not sure about is if the coupon will work at check out on items purchased before the coupon goes live. i think it should though. it's a gamble and i think i'm going to try it.

I agree with you per the eBay Bucks terms: "Purchases must be completed during the Promotion Period and paid for before the Promotion ends."

i've paid after the promo expired and still got the ebay bucks. i use an ebay sniper (gixen) to bid on auctions that end late at night or early in the morning. i sniped several items at 1 or 2 am, promo expired at 3 am (eastern) but i still got the ebay bucks even thought i paid the following day after the promo expired. if you want to be cautious that's fine too.

EDIT: i'm still going to do it and report back.
