Yes, I believe so! For $30 I will use it on my older car as a back up camera!
I have the 7" on order not yet shipped for $40. Thinking of cancelling and order this for $30

I think the high endurance cards are recommended for dash cams (Sandisk and transient). Some reviewers are saying the linked sandisk Ultra works with their Dash cam.
Backup camera is decent! I haven't installed it yet! I only hooked it up to see the quality! The Back camera shows as a small box in the display!

Yes you can mount the camera outside . it's waterproof .Most people put it near the license plate!
You can use T-TAPS to splice reverse wire!
I would suggest you hard wire the power source. Many videos on youtube showing how to do this.. You can use this. It has a 3 coupon also.

Last thing is if you have a large car or Suv the cable may not be long enough! If thats the case you need to contact the manufacture and they will send you a longer cable! Mine is on the way now!
