Also love how every case is slim and super slim, even the dual layer max protection ones lol.

I bought the XS Max single fit (black) and the crystal clear one for a family member. Both cases are great especially for the price. The waves on both cases provide a nice texture to aide with grip/feel. They are a "smooth" tpu and tend not to grip to surfaces so they will slide off things like armrests.

Agree completely with this ^ comment. The black single fit case is excellent for the $. I've tried two other cases including the Spigen Neo Hybrid on my XS Max and the case still on it is the black VRS single fit.

Is the difference between these branded ones (VRS/Spigen/etc.) noticeable in terms of safety compared to the cheaper ones on ebay? Or is it just differences in design?

I was thinking about buying this one on ebay [ebay.com]for $1, and was wondering if it was worth it at all to pay an extra couple dollars for the branded ones like the one posted.

Don't understand the hate. I bought both the single fit and crystal fit cases when they were on sale for $2.20 each. I've only used the single fit and it fits just fine. A little thicker than what I'd prefer but I wasn't expecting it to be super thin. It also looks like a Prada case. No problem with wireless charging and it's not too heavy for a magnetic vent mount (I place the metal plate above the charging coils).

For $2.20 shipped, it was well worth it for me. For $3, you still can't go wrong.

What's with all the hate? I bought two cases from the last deal and the cases are fantastic for the money you spent. I dropped my phone twice already and it's working perfectly fine. It's like you expect a Mercedes after you paid for a Toyota
