Before people start asking, 300 watts PSU. Best card you can put in is 1050 ti. You can try 1060 but not recommended.

This one is actually 4 cores (quad = 4?!) so I guess it's good for editing (editing what? word documents?) I want to play that "decent gaming", though, whatever that is.

This desktop will work just fine with modern games. The onboard graphics are bare decent can even handle PubG. With a dedicated GPU it's work alot better.

Yes it will work fine. The onboard graphics can handle 3 years or older games just fine, I'd recommend getting a dedicated GPU afterwards. Photoshopping will work too, don't let the nay-sayers change your mind.
