Either I have officially bought everything, or Slickdeals has lost its mojo. The deals lately are smh.
i never realized there was an "original" flavor. what does that taste like?
Been a 20+ year Trident chewer until about a year ago. They changed the size, packaging and flavor. The packages fall apart and you end up with a pocket full of loose pocket lint gum. The gum now melts in your car (summer heat) and becomes un-edible(never used to do that). They resized the sticks and now you get 14 sticks vs the 18 they used to pack in. The keep having these bargain prices to win back their loyal customers..... Won't work.

I somewhat concur with that Wikipedia . What snapped to my mind when I saw your question was... somewhat muted spearmint.

Anyone remember a flavor Trident had back in the 80's called Fruit? Is was great. Too bad it's not around anymore.

In case it matters, these gums are not vegetarian/vegan. Glycerin used is from animal sources.

Newer reviews indicate the flavor was changed and it's worse than before. They could be dumping stock.

Trident is garbage. Flavor dissipates in seconds and gum turns to plastic. The only one worth chewing is Orbit Peppermint... which Costco stopped carrying recently. Frown
