More than likely no.

Mine went bad after 6 months. Micron said the seller was not an authorized reseller, so the warranty is void. urlhasbeenblocked made the seller refund me eventually however. Don't know who this reseller is on Newegg, but I'd expect the same run around if it comes down to it.
I have this drive. It runs well. No complaint so far.

Since these are OEM drives, you will usually have to contact the seller to file a claim.

Thinking about purchasing one of these micron 2tb ssd and a sandisk 200gb microsd to max out the 15% promo gc.

I have not seen anyone post on here that their micron 2tb ssd failed. though there has been some third party postings, but not a lot of direct info. for all we know they could have user abused it and/or trying to deter buyers.

I remember buying a 1TB drive for $400. And that was a steal price when they'd been $800 or more not much before then.

Amazing how cheap SSDs have gotten. Now I just wish the PCIe ones were as cheap.

I agree, but I suspect the deals won't be that great on Bf.. but we are expecting a $99/tb ssd drive real soon.. the key is to get Western Digital to ramp up low priced 1tb SSD faster @ the street price of $99 everyday, not a special limited time sale

So, I was going to get this micron 2tb ssd, Sandisk 200gb microsd card, and corsair 500w psu ($20 rebate) for $226 AC ($5 Sandisk and $5 corsair) to max out the %15 back promotion gc. It looked like a good deal as after $20 rebate and $50 gc I would get the micron SSD for about $250 and basically the sandisk and corsair for free. Well, that was before I pressed the order button and took a look at my orders. What I feared happened, their system broke up the micron from the sandisk and corsair and made 2 different orders. apparently it does this as the micron is sold 3rd party even though ne ships it. the fine print of the %15 back promotion gc says that they will take the biggest order during the promotion time and that would only be the micron order. So, I quickly cancelled both orders.

this is definitely a sign from higher up to be patient and wait. heh
