Ryobi makes 2 iterations of this stand (the one listed goes for $60 and another model that lists for $100), the differences are listed in this review which I've copied from the HD reviews:
1. $59.97 vs. $99.97
2. 300 lb holding capacity vs. 400 lb holding capacity
3. 7' extension vs. 9' extension
4. The cheaper one is NOT COMPATIBLE with any SLIDING miter saw that is greater than 10" whereas the expensive one at least works with Ryobi's 12" sliding miter saw. Per the manual for the $99.97 one, "...it should never be used on any miter saw with a blade diameter larger than 12 in. or with any slide miter saw with a blade diameter larger than 10 in. other than 12 in. Ryobi brands." The $59.97 one completely leaves out the "...other than 12 in. Ryobi brands" part in the manual.
I have both sizes of the Ryobi stand and feel that it is a better build than the compatible DeWalt stand. The larger size (99$) can hold a 12" slider as I use it with my Dewalt 12" non slider and before hand with the 12" Ridgid slider. I have the 36v Makita 10" slider on the smaller stand (69$) and have not had any issues with the balance of it.
Fyi, picked it up for $49 today in store. May not be good for anything larger than a 12-in miter saw, or the fact that it doesn't have wheels, but for me it's going to work great on a 10-in Craftsman sliding saw that always stays stationary.
