This item is a Grade B Refurbished System which means that this item passed testing for all functions. Will have minor wear which may include: dent of ½" diameter or less, small areas of discoloration, and light scratches that are no more than 3" long.
So after you add memory, and ssd, and change out the screen you're up to about $320 and a bunch of hassle for an old laptop. Ebay is just flooded with decent laptops from the last 3 years or so in the $200-$300 range. And there's no shortage of old i5's or i7's with 4gb and 720p screen like this for sub $200. Even sub $150.
Good deal on a nice laptop. Be aware this does not have dedicated right and left "mouse" keys over the trackpad. Rather, the trackpad "tilts" in those corners when pressed. I've gotten used to it (the 440 is my work computer since 2013 - they keep trying to replace it but I've got it all set the way I want, so no). But dedicated keys are much better.
Just bought the T430 that was listed the week before last - I would have gone with this instead, even without the dedicated keys.
Also it needs 8gb RAM and a SSD to really shine. But you all knew that.
EDIT: the T430 was also a B-grade. But honestly it was in great shape with only wear on the corners. Arrow does a nice job.
he is definitely going to hate you if he tries to play fortnite on this

Also an IPS 1080 screen for about $50. Not too difficult to replace.
Lenovo makes pretty good PCs, but they should re-name this line to "Thick Pad". So many of their laptops are, but I guess that's somewhat common with workstations.
