Just installed this earlier today and will be returning it. Changing the water flow/spray control is a pain and you have to take spray off the showerhead before pressing the button. There are many other options out there than this.

Definitely do not need to remove head in order to press button. Been using this for a little over 6mo now and I'm mostly happy with it

I have tried several times after installing and I agreed with vv_vv about removing the head to press the button.
What is the trick to do it without removing the head?

Not true. I had the same problem, you just need to reseat the shower head around the wedge. Once you do that, try clicking the button to change it. If it is getting stuck, it's not seated right.
Glad I wasn't the only one...

There is no trick, installed it yesterday myself. Simply press the button for different spray modes and you dont need to remove the handheld spray from the shower head to effect different spray modes.

I just tried it again. Apparently there's a nitch at the back that you are supposed to align the head to. It works now. Thank you.
I have had it for about 6 months and really like it. I removed the flow restrictor before I installed it. I may pickup another one for the guest bath.
My only complaint is that it needs a longer spout off the wall to sit correctly and aim down all the way. I just angle mine 30 degrees to have it shoot down.
