Why the down votes? I mean this is the price Klipsch sells their entry level Reference monitors every November, but that doesn't mean it's not a better price than it was last month.

I posted the deal list for Klipsch this AM and got tons of down votes and a few upvotes. People are convinced there are going to better deals this black Friday. I picked 2 sets of these up from Best buy locally. And am using 1 set currently I like them. And if a better deal comes around then I'll return for money back

I'd be really surprised to see a better deal than this on the new Reference speakers. It's possible there might be some better deals on the old Reference speakers though as I'm sure vendors are looking to clear out old stock. That doesn't make this any less of a deal though or justify giving it a TD in my opinion.

And this is one reason prices are higher then they need to be...Oh, its cheaper now, ok ill return it and screw over the seller instead of just accepting the fact the price went down like all electronics do.

Ignorance is bliss, Do you know how retail works? Big box retailers buy these in the orders of thousands at a time paying pennies on the dollar. If and when I return something there isn't a loss. They sell it as an open box or seeing as 1 set is unopened 1 open box or 1 new. And if a manafscture lowers the selling point on an item do you think they are taking a $2-500 hit on the items? Negative they get credited back on future orders. So tell me again why your prices are higher then they need to be by me returning something?

I saw and commented on your post - but didn't specifically look up this pair. Lots of what I did look at couldn't beat eBay, but these seem like good speakers that you can't get cheaper anywhere. After further reserach, I bought a pair of these from Klispch (they're $124 vs. $124.99 and no tax for me there.) Thanks both of you for the post!

Awsome! I ordered from Klipsch a few days ago through the site and I didn't get charged tax until the item shipped. I hope you get it tax free and cheers! They sound great!

Such an stupid & ignorant comment. Classic example of someone talking out of his a$$. That's not the reason why things are priced higher than they need to be. In-store theft either by employees or customers is the contributes to that far more than customer returns. Also retailers (and e-tailers) know that they are far more likely to gain a sale if they advertise "FREE SHIPPING" on their website - do you have any clue why it's free? I'll give you a hint since you're so clueless. The cost of shipping is factored into the overall product price.

Actually I have more common sense that both of these responses. I AM a e-tailer/retailer. Are either of you? The returns for absolutely no reason put a hurt on businesses. big or small.
How would you feel if your boss decided to lesson your income in order for self gain? Besides more then they already do.

Yes manufacturer rebates cost goes down, but that doesnt help your previous sale that the seller paid the higher price. Thats even worse now, your original cost of the item is now the retail price which equals more loss.
You LOSE the money for a return. Its part of business yes but it still hurts every business when someone returns something used so they can get it cheaper elsewhere. Its absolutely sold at a loss unless the markup was that high of course.
You sir are the ignorant one, pennies on the dollar huh?
Not quite...

Youre the reason small businesses cant make it in todays world. Or you can just accept the fact that you got it for a good deal and just be grateful. What an awful thing for you to do.
