The QHD 32GK650F combines AMD Radeon FreeSync technology with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms motion blur reduction and Dynamic Action Sync for smooth gameplay with virtually no tearing.
This is currently the lowest price I've ever seen for this monitor, down 50 from last months post at 350, and currently the best deal for a 32" 1440p VA screen that isn't a samsung panel.

"* When HDMI Compatibility Mode is on, 2560 x 1440 @ 120/144Hz resolution is not supported. "
Looks like 75Hz max for HDMI. Is that a normal HDMI limitation?

Granted, I don't have this monitor, but if the HDMI ports on the monitor and the video card are both HDMI 2.0, then it should technically be able to do 144hz at 1440p. My current setup is a GTX 970 to a 144hz 1440p monitor through HDMI 2.0. If either of the ports are HDMI 1.4, then I don't think you can hit the full 144hz.

Also just found the new Ryzen laptop I ordered is only HDMI 1.4b. Granted, it's not a high-end gaming laptop: maybe only those get display port or HDMI 2.0. Going to see if I can find other midrange laptop with display port or HDMI 2.0 and cancel that one.
Here's a quote from one:
However, we don't recommend this model to those who are looking for a positive HDR experience. The LG 32GK850F suffered from washed out colors and lower contrast once HDR is enabled, although it isn't equipped adequately to do so. It's a nice bonus to test and play around with, but we can only consider this product an excellent buy if it's for SDR gaming or viewing.
Unfortunately, the HDR capability of this screen was severely lacking. Not just because of the lack of local dimming on the backlight, but because the user was given too much control over the image. And because contrast was significantly worse under HDR, not better. The monitor didn't really tick many HDR boxes in the first place, but even with the capabilities it did have we expected better in that respect.
Also I'm going to try to "audition" this monitor from Amazon this weekend but wanna lock in the price on Microcenter. Do they normally process/ship quick?
