If you train hard this is an incredible tool to add to your recovery arsenal. The unit alone, which I've never seen go on sale, retails for $350, but you can get it plus the case in this deal for $299, which Hyperice describes as a "$400 value." Free ship. No tax for most.

IMO it's better. It has 3 speed options and doesn't sound like a garage power tool at work. You can't beat it at it's price and having the versatility of 4 different heads is a good thing.
I've tried both. The Theragun hits a little harder i think, but it's like 3 times louder. It sounds like construction is going on if you were in a nearby room. The Theragun looks like a modified jigsaw whereas the hypervolt is much quieter and sleeker design. With this deal I've decided on the hypervolt
This is my experience as well. Theragun costs $600 (though there are $200 off promotions out there right now) and painfully loud to the user, annoying to other household members, and even audible to neighbors. Surprised this thread isn't getting more love, I've waited months for this deal LOL.
The battery life on the Hypervolt is 3 hours compared to 20 minutes on the theragun. Overall the Hypervolt is a better designed and built product and is much quieter. I'd go with the Hypervolt.
