ENDS 11/23 end of day!! For new members only - Shipt (a Target owned grocery delivery service) is offering $49 for membership (usually $99) plus another membership you can gift to a friend. You can use this link (https://www.shipt.com/grocery-delivery/) to see what stores deliver to your zip code. Most groceries are slightly more expensive to order via Shipt than just going to the store yourself, but deliveries over $35 have a $0 delivery fee. Deliveries under $35 have a $7 delivery fee.

Shoppers base pay is $5 plus 7.5% of the total. Customary tip for delivery is 15%, and is left in app (or cash) at your descretion. Some shoppers go the extra mile to make your experience a good one(we've recieved a free candy bar in a thank you card from several of our shoppers), so showing a little appreciation is nice but not required.

If your order is above $35 you pay no other charges for the service other than your yearly fee, under $35 they tack on a $7 surcharge to that order. You can also order alcohol but the shopper is required to scan your ID upon delivery.

Shipt is a good service but the markup over store prices was just too much, especially on meat.

I had no problem paying a bit more than the store for the convenience of delivery (they advertise $5 more on a ~$35 order) but there were times it was close to a $15-$20 product cost difference (on a $50ish order) not even factoring in the tip. Came in handy when sick or schedule was just crazy but I found I couldn't justify the $60 a month increase in grocery cost (markup Shipt charged over store prices).

Never really shopped at Walmart, but have been using their Grocery pickup. No cost for the service and the product prices are identical as in the store.
