Visible by Verizon has Unlimited Talk, Text, Data + Unlimited Hotspot $275/Year or $25/Month. Prices include all taxes and fees, so what you see is what you pay. No data throttling outside of posted speeds of 9-149Mbps regular data and 5Mbps hotspot data.

Unlimited Talk, Text & Data
Never worry about overages or hidden fees with all the minutes, messages and megabytes you need. Includes unlimited calls & texting from the US to Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Guam and Saipan.

5G & 4G LTE
Visible runs on Verizon's award-winning 5G & 4G LTE networks.

Typical 4G LTE & 5G download speeds are 9-149 Mbps. Video streams in SD. In times of traffic, your data may be temporarily slower than other traffic.

5G requires a 5G-capable device inside the 5G coverage area.

Unlimited Mobile Hotspot
Your smartphone becomes a WiFi connection for devices like tablets, laptops, and more.

Visible includes mobile hotspot with unlimited data at speeds up to 5 Mbps. Video streams in SD. While more than 1 device may be connected to your Hotspot at one time, a single connected device will experience optimal speeds. Performance will be reduced if multiple devices access data through the Hotspot simultaneously. Actual data speed, availability and coverage will vary based on device capabilities, usage, your location and network availability. Service is not available while roaming.

Unlimited Talk & Text to Mexico & Canada
Unlimited calling and messaging to Mexico and Canada when you are in the US.

Spam Protection
Screens incoming calls and filters spam. Blocks high-risk spam and robocalls at our network before they even get to you.

Free 2 business day phone/smartwatch shipping
Phones and smartwatches ship free using standard two-day delivery. SIM card only orders ship free using standard 3-5 day delivery.

395 for the Visible+ plan, works out to only 32.92 a month, cheaper than the $35 dealie they had earlier in the year.

Yeah Regular annual plan is barely any savings. However Visible+ annual plan is huge savings of $145 vs paying monthly over the year.

if I had ever cancelled my home internet or moved into a van, I'd be buying Visible+ annual plan.

Buried deep in the terms:

Not sure how this squares with the other narrative,

Also, recently had fits with an older device on VZW. The checker kept saying phone was good but the network kept kicking me off. At least AT&T rejects your device outright lol.

5Mbps hotspot data speed is clearly disclosed in the very first paragraph of the description I posted with this listing above, not buried deep in the terms. It's pretty fast compared to the few hundred Kbps speed that throttled plans provide after a soft cap is reached.

not a deal. it locks a year with prepaid regular price.

$275@5%SavingRate ~ $13 , so $25 monthly plan, annual prepaid one saves $12 (25-13)
$395@5%SavingRate ~20, so yearly ($395+$20), $34.5 per monthly ~ $35
not sure what are you expecting? 5G unlimited hotspot speed to replace your home internet with a $25 phone plan?

Not sure how many it will apply to, but mobile hotspot does not work in places where Verizon is using regional carrier's towers instead of their own (roaming). I could not find a map, but I do know that they rely on US Cellular towers where my family lives.

Remember this is more of a Soft contract.

Your paying for a full year(Contract) but have the ability to cancel at anytime(Soft type). Note: If you cancel at anytime you lose any remaining service months and no refunds will be issued.

Also with the website issues and customer service that Visible has I would not feel secure paying a full year.

I agree. I was happily anticipating to try the service when I switched due to low quality connections on my other MVNO.
Literally I couldn't get through my first experience of overall service research / account sign-up / settings choices customization / app use / CS contact attempts without encountering MULTIPLE DISTINCT horrible inexcusable problems with their service.

The LEAST of which would basically be 100% inexcusable and indicative of a UX / UI / sysadmin & backend system that is so WRONG and amateurish that 100% no professional company that has a commercial web site that they develop according to even the most minimal standards of functionality with even the most minimal standards of testing / QA would deploy AT ALL yet apparently visible has let these glaring blocker level problems persist for YEARS without addressing them. I discovered that as trying to figure out WTH is going on with my experience I found a large number of identical complaints matching my search keywords on their community forum and other internet blog sites going back 1+ years.

So basically I would never recommend the service to anyone as being even remotely trustworthy that if you do everything right you're not going to fall into some black hole of problem due to visible which you WILL NOT be able
to figure out / fix unilaterally and in that case you WILL NOT have a good experience trying (possibly vainly) to get them to resolve your issue that THEY caused; they obviously JUST DON'T CARE about CS / UX / quality.

Sort of like "russian roulette" I guess if you spin the wheel and take a chance you'll either deeply regret it sooner or later or maybe if you get lucky and don't ever end up with a problem or reason to change ANYTHING after you get it set up well maybe it'll "keep working" indefinitely but, again, good luck if you need support -- you'll need it!

I haven't tried them but my currently most interesting possible carrier to try in the future is USM, personally.

Mint was relatively fine except just some not so good web site stuff and the lack of better regional service / prioritization on the TMO data network was an issue IME.

Wait, I protest! You wrote: "speeds up to 5 Mbps. Video streams in SD," which sounds good ("SD"). But the SD resolution is only 480p! Wa-wa-wa-waaaa.

With hotspots on the Tmo $10/mo plan, I get 100 Mbps. Not all the time (wa-wa-wa-waaaa), but many multiples of the 5 in this plan.

Let them bump up the speed and I'd be all over this.

I get it...this plan has its downsides, like any other. Data speed is one of them, so I mentioned that early in the description. But the price for unlimited everything made me think it was worth posting at least. Everyone can look and decide for themselves. I actually just went to US Mobile, which is a better fit for my needs.

T-Mobile has some great MVNO pricing as well, but a bunch of people can't live with their coverage area. I'm one of those; T-Mobile signal at my house is slim to none.

So this is one year contract? We had postpaid going prepaid and then now prepaid contract?
