These are great if you're a bachelor and drying speed is not of essence. I know personally that it takes 4+ hours to dry a full load of laundry. Price is good though.

Why in the hell would it take that long? Was it the dryer? Maybe your vents were clogged?

They use a ventless condensing drying system. Read the description. Wink

It literally says "ventless" in the OP. Even though there is a vent, though it does not vent to the exterior of the home as is tradition. Go read the reviews on Amazon for a better idea. Its not a conventional dryer.

Also I should mention that it only uses 110v electrical hook up. Not knocking the idea but just be prepared for a lot longer than normal drying times.

... I was hoping it would automatically have the clothes drop in the dryer section and start on it's own.

This is priceless...I like it, Manufacturers, take note.

Do they really take that long to dry? Or is it just this model or it's just the draw back of all in ones?

True of all ventless dryers. It's never better but for those who live in small city apartments the space saving is nice and also when your laundry closet is in the middle of the apartment with no venting options, this is your only choice.

Yes, ventless are a slower, but a dedicated 240 volt ventless like the Bosch 24" will dry about as fast as my vented LG dryer. I think in this case it is the 120V limitation that is really hurting the drying time here.

This takes FOREVER to dry. Only good if you can leave it on overnight otherwise you will die from waiting

Great unit. I have 2 of these in my home. I have one in our master closet, works great, we just toss a load in it and forget it. No need to wait around for it to move the clothes to a dryer. Helps so much when you have a busy schedule. We do have a normal dryer also for when we need to do multiple loads or large items to dry.

only major complaint is that there is no lint trap! The link just balls up on the seal. Once it's dry it comes right off with a towel, but it be nice to have a trap to clean off instead
