Nice price, but not a Canon authorized dealer, so not eligible for the rebate offers. Also, YMMV on USA warranty coverage.

Is it better to buy this one new or used one for almost same price on ebay?

In what situation would used be a better buy if neither comes with a USA warranty?

Seems pretty legit.

I currently have a T6i. Will I see a big difference in video/photos in macro photography for jewelry?

No. 80D is a better camera, but your use camera is one where you control the lighting and don't rely on the features that are bested by the 80D, like autofocus and frame rate. I'd say keep your T6i or get a 6D Mark II for < $1000

I purchased a refurbished one from Canons website [canon.com] a few months ago for $730. Looks like they still have it. It came with a 18-55mm lens. It arrived looking brand new and I have had no problems with it so far. I also purchased several refurbished lenses.

Thanks for the info. I was tempted to get the 6D but heard video wasn't as good and my lenses wouldn't fit Frown

Thank you. Yes, they have it. I want to upgrade my 60D which i still love. 80D i heard is much better in low light situations.

Canon are clearing the 80D as the 90D should be coming out early next year.

I bought both of my 80D refurb from Canon site. Great upgrade overall to my 60Ds for sure!
Low light is " better" but there are a lot better cameras out there if that's your priority.

Outstanding value and if concerned about a warranty, get a SquareTrade and you are covered. Yes, Canon will work on these grey market, but at cost. Personally I have had no issues buying my Nikon bodies over the years and yes, I can get them repaired on my dime as I did once. Regarding video, Canon has the advantage here vs Nikon D7200/D7500 as Canon's auto focus (AF) while shooting video is excellent. Damn fine camera.

Edit: forgot to add this video on how to use best video settings on the 80D. It's one of the best I have seen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?tim...3G2aa8_GqM

Last year, right at Christmas, Canon had a refurbished 80D Holiday Bundle (18-55mm + 55-250mm) for $649. I'm hoping for something similar this year.

The difference is that Canon can refuse to repair an import item even if you're willing to pay for it. A used but made-to-be-sold-in-USA item can be repaired by Canon.
