Now, if you aren't using these for food and for storage for other things then they would by be great.
Be skeptical of these third party amazon seller posts- very often shill army posting and Upvoting them. Can't trust SD anymore guys.

I wouldn't use 'nearly every' as liberally as you did here. There's a MAJORITY of people voting 5 stars. Doesn't quite jive with your language.

One reviewer indicates that they are compatible with the OXO sets

First, they are not the same thickness as the OXO. Not close.
Second, the plastic is #6. You do NOT want this stuff. I'm surprised this wasn't listed anywhere.
Third, although I feel they would do OK for sealing, the fit and finish is clearly low quality.
Lastly, one of my items had a crack in the lip at the top. Likely due to both reasons 1 and 2.
