Dahua OEM camera - will work with Lorex NVRs from Dahua, and Dahua OEM NVRs you may need to change / adjust IP / port and user / password between the NVR and Cameras.

Mat2000 - recommends this deal - ;-)

Remember to keep your setup secure:
  • DO NOT port forward
  • Turn of UPnP on your router
  • Turn of P2P on your router
  • If you want remote access to your security cameras use a VPN - that is run a VPN server on your router and use a VPN app on your mobile device.

Likely a different camera. I've been following this specific camera closely as I'm in process of upgrading our home security cameras. This 4K PoE Amcrest Cam was the same price with promo code as a lightning deal on Black Friday. This is your second chance to pick it up it at an incredible price!

Nice deal but I have been using LaView cams for years both on NVR and Blue Iris systems.
I still have some LaView cams for spare in case. Thus, I must pass. Thanks OP!

Will this work with a Synology NAS instead of an NVR?

NVR is not a requirement for this camera, but you do need a way to power it. Either through a PoE injector or a POE Switch. Foscam/Amcrest systems do have a way to offload video via FTP.I'm not familiar with Synology NAS, but if it has a built in FTP server I suppose it'd be possible. See this help article: https://support.amcrest.com/hc/en...rage-Setup
