Cooney01! You were right about the centers going on sale eventually. Just didn't expect it to be this soon.

I got a pair of 162's for front and 152's for the rear. I wanted to get a set that I could use now (which is overkill for the space in our apartment), that we could migrate into a home eventually.

I was wondering. How much different would the 252 be compared to the 263? I know the better value would be go for the 263 but that thing is a monster in size. Do you have any suggestions on mounting that? Or just have to find a good TV stand that has a big enough space to fit it.


Also, the 12" sub is on sale Frown... I ordered the 10" and going to return it for the 12"

I've been listening on a 5.1 set of Infinity Interludes for about 15 years now. Infinity has been using these CMMD woofers since the Preludes came out decades ago. It is hard to describe speakers since it is all so subjective. I'll say they do a good job everywhere, but a great job nowhere. They are an excellent compromise driver for movies and music, but they lack that "warmness" in music. I have other speakers, and I've found that room design is more important than your speaker selection.

The bigger center channel is worth every penny.

Whoever commented on the black friday sale about waiting for the center and sub to go on sale... you are the effing man! I ordered 4 speakers and prayed the 12" sub and the center would go on sale. WOW... what a deal. THANK YOU whoever you are.

Seems these go on sale frequently enough that this is almost normal price. It's hard to believe the retail they list. Picked up the 252.

also, had a 10% off code from last time but it wouldn't let me use it. not sure if the code expired or if they are preventing use on these now. Or maybe just not allowed today with cyber Monday sales. not sure but just says it can currently be added to the cart

edit - called and confirmed that discount codes are disabled for cyber Monday sale.

The 252 looks similar to the cs10. The 263 might be a good upgrade but it is huge and wont fit for me.
