Didn't see this posted anywhere - Sears is actually having a sale on lots of NordicTrack treadmills, with $250 SYWR bonus points back. I know some don't care for those so I didn't reduce the "price" - but it's an added benefit. This was the right fit for us, but other models available as well
This model has a 5" longer belt and a .15 greater CHP motor than the Amazon DOTD currently posted, though it does cost more. Check your SYWR account for an additional $35 off purchases of $300 or more to bring the cost down from $599 to $564. We wanted the SOLE F63, and that's a better machine - but for the price and the points, we opted to go with this despite likely inferior customer service.

Images attached for proof.
Edit: you can't see the bonus points in my product page image because I already got them with the purchase, but you can see them in the order confirmation

Nordic track is now owned by Proform. Customer service reviews since that time do not look all that great.
"To activate product without a paid iFit membership, hold the iFit/Bluetooth button for at least 15 seconds."
I believe you are correct. Sears + iFit = screw you out of money. I read multiple reviews on several different Nordictrack models listed at Sears site. All pretty much confirm what you say. Here's a sample of one for this c850S. "
"We purchased this treadmill only to find out after delivery and setup that it is non-useable without a costly monthy membership to ifit (approx $15 monthly). Meaning, you turn it on and the screen instructs you activate ifit and will do nothing until this is done and your credit card number is entered. As of this posting, this requirement is not noted ANYWHERE in the specs or in the operators manual, nor was it disclosed by the sales associate in the store upon purchase. Several hours of phone calls to Nordic Track, ifit, and Sears yielded each company blaming each other for this debacle. Nordic Track and ifit insist its an agreement with Sears, where as not a single Sears associate from the store level, district level, or customer service has any knowledge of any such agreement. In all my years of being a consumer, I've NEVER encountered such a scam perpetuated by such a well-known company, compounded by the unwillingness of all parties involved to offer any solutions to make it right for the customers who were tricked into purchasing equipment they cannot use. NOTE- after several days of follow up, a store associate was able to find an override - hold down the bluetooth button for thirty seconds until you hear three beeps, then you should be able to use it."
YMMV!!
I believe most/some of the Sears/Nordictrack's give you a free year...but after that = 'no go'. Not sure if this one does. You pay. I would not pay 100's of dollars for the privilege of being held hostage after a year. F'n greedy bastards.
More glad than ever that Sears is going under after finding this out..
Out of touch retailers.
but 22 inch deck and 3.0hp motor is a minimum requirement for quality (f63 is 20" right?)

Hopefully this Christmas for you.
I believe you can get an extra 10% off if you sign up for their CC on first purchase too. That 'should' make an F65 at or under 1000.00 inc tax and delivery....if they're repeating the 25% off IN STORE.

Google is your friend. Also look in their forums after reading their reviews and enter something like 'customer service' or 'service' to see how many threads pop up asking questions about each brand (Nordictrack, Proform, Sole, etc) It surprised me how few threads there were with Sole when i did my research.
That's not to say the 10.9 elliptical isn't great. I just wanted a very responsive company if I had issues under warranty or after warranty. I gave up 'bells and whistles' to buy a Sole for their quality and responsive service (at least i hope so).
