$3-4 more can get the standars vwrsion. Ive jad mine for at least 5 uears and no issues. Althoight backboard against a door can get noisy aince theres no cushioning

The main reason my boy wanted this was for the dunking aspect and it didn't right away but eventually did crack. Not bad at this price since any toy can break. The metal rim and spring makes dunking fun for kids.

I got the last deal which was for the glow in the dark version and my 7 yr olds been dunking the hell out of it and finally cracked a little at the top but still works. Had it for about 6 months I believe. Worth the lil cash for daily use imo.

i have this version and it's great but beware it doesnt come w/ the foam ball. it comes w a regular inflatable one that is very solid and will be noisy and possibly destructive when shooting with. lol. i ended up buying the foam ball separate.

I did the exact same as you and for the same reason (in addition, the foam ball won't hurt the baby as much if he's crawling under the hoop when his older brother dunks on his head laugh out loud).
