Good price for a known VPN. Just note that Windscribe does not have a kill switch. In other words, for anyone new to VPNs, if you lose your VPN connection, it doesn't automatically shut-down the page you are on, leaving you exposed. Admittedly, I don't have personal experience with this VPN, but just sharing what I read in tech reviews.
very helpful info. thank you for sharing this fact.

I'm not sure what you're talking about. It has a firewall that shuts down the internet if your server or connection goes down. I bought lifetime last week and have no complaints so far. Actually, they have more servers in more areas than they led me to believe in their promotion. But the best server changes daily.

I've been using windscribe for a year now. It definitely has a kill switch.

Glad someone who has it is able to verify that it does have a kill switch! Again, I was going by a tech review that I use often, Tom's guide. I am also concerned, though, that is a Canadian company that falls within the five eyes judisdiction, especially if using Kodi.

It def has a firewall that shuts off net access if you lose connection to the VPN. Speeds could use some work though, as there are other VPNs that are faster.

Can you please update your post to reflect the fact it DOES have a kill switch? People are reading it and closing the page thinking what you wrote was correct.
I bought VPN secure lifetime for $12 during cyber sale. How is windscibe compared to VPNsecure ?
I bought VPNSecure and Windscribe, and Windscribe is better. I wrote to VPNSecure about a couple configuration problems they have, and they didn't seem so interested in fixing them. Windscribe was configured correctly from the start, they're serious about security and you can chat with the owner on their Discord server or with their staff directly on Reddit. Love the openness.
Theses not much difference in speed compared to the free one, just that you have more server locations to choose from and there's no more data cap. That's it.
If you have access to a decent speed server and you don't run out of your monthly data cap, I would say, don't bother to upgrade.
If you do decide to upgrade, I would go with the 3 year one.
