this was the first year in a while I thought to myself that I AM NOT BUYING THE TARGET GIFT CARDS.

Yet I starred this Citi CC offer in my email in mid November and forgot about it. Thanks for the suggestion.

I didn't want to spend a lot of time on this and prefer physical cards. So I quickly got 3 Target gift cards for $40 each.
