That work platform, I think they call it the air deck, is really handy to have, like when I'm clearing out my gutters. I don't think I would buy this 22 foot one without it.

Here's why *for me* it's worth the $60 premium to keep the LG:
1. Ladder steps are joined to the frame via welds on the LG. The gorilla uses rivets. Welds are also covered with little orange plastic guards which is a nice touch.
2. Ladder steps on the LG look beefier. The steps on the Gorilla appear to be just folded strips of metal.
3. Rocker side latches on the LG are more ergonomic than the circular latches on the Gorilla.
4. LG is made in the USA. Gorilla is made in China.
Finally, this LG model from Costco has wheels but does NOT include the individual leg levellers that you see on some higher priced LG models. Hope that helps.
