$8 manufacturer's savings** is valid 11/6/18 through 12/14/18. While supplies last.
Front [channeladvisor.com]

Back [channeladvisor.com]
Tan with hood showing [channeladvisor.com]
https://www.costco.com/Rugged-Ele...09240.html

This jacket has a built in hood in the collar, elastic rope tie around the bottom, hidden pockets inside the jacket, zipped pockets on front, and feels water proof. (but water resistant... nothing scotch guard can't aid in ), Velcro front zipper flap cover and sleeves.

It is not a thick jacket, but not thin. This is not exactly a shell jacket, but in snow/mountain use I would consider it a shell on top of your sweater/shirts/thermals... or fleece jacket etc.
I used to work at a ski resort for years as I was part of the head of construction for it. This jacket is well worth 30 bucks in store, 22 on line.

It does not compare to my Scott Schmidt Step Tech North Face gear. *rare and expensive. BUT, it has some of the features I like in a jacket so its well worth 30 bucks. (That is why I am posting it)
The jacket runs a size small.. so try on a larger size. I always go for bigger to have room for layers.

Quality post. Thanks.

Regarding your note about running small though, there are comments that also say the opposite...

"I really liked this jacket for the price but the small was a little too big so I have to return."

I was thinking about buying it. Reviews are good and feels like it should be warm and for $22 is a good price. But I came across Swiss+Tech
Men's Midweight Jacket at Walmart
[walmart.com] (black, $34 + Tax) and was very impressed with the quality and bought it. Its not very bulky but has some fluff and so far has done really well even at 20F with good wind resistance.
I have also bought Weatherproof Men's Ultra Tech Stretch Jacket [costco.com] when it was $24. Its a good jacket with insulation but I liked Swiss Tech better.

Edit: Although, online only has one color and size S, the B&Ms have more variety and sizes.

I read that today too, Large was not large enough for me. Putting arms out and touching your chest with your hands tended to make the underarm (pits) tight... and the sleeves not long enough. Then I thought I would like to have it larger anyway to wear over top of a fleece jacket or sweater.. So went with a XL. I paid $29.99 for mine in Costco.. next time I go in I'll see if I can get them to credit me the $8.
They had tan, blue, black. I didn't like the blue.

Does anyone know who makes this for Costco? I think it may be a made up brand just for Costco.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh? I ordered Med and Large because of the previous posters comment. But now I am wondering if I will need XL. I am 5'-11", 200lbs.

I have this jacket. It's fairly warm but in NE weather you need to layer it. I'd say it runs a bit large for the medium I have. But that's good if you need to layer it.

Exactly what I was thinking. This is why you need just a slight size bigger. The length is longer then normal and the sleevesl seem long on smaller sizes so people are saying it is a bit big.

On the right pocket it says Rugged Elements on that tag.
I think a " 5'11" 200 lb" man could use a XL .. .

Height won't have much to do with it as it runs long anyway...You are slightly fatter then me Ha ha

It is exactly the Kohls picture.
The front pockets has the two snaps like in the picture. The Amazon one does not have the snaps.
On the right pocket it says Rugged Elements on that tag. (and inside on the collar).

On a personal note,
If your even pondering on this, you better get in and look at one soon. Costco is already pretty much sold out on there (fake) x-mas trees (best fakes I seen in years, and I shopped this year for one for 3 weeks)... Christmas seasonal items are selling fast.
I saw about 30 of these jackets on the table...it won't be long before online will be out of stock and the stores out of stock.

At least go try one on. It's 30 bucks! Don't forget to mention the online price they might honor it. ($8 off)

I bought one 2 months ago when it was $29.99. Good quality and warm. The best things is weather proof - given the warm winter and raining days in NJ, this works perfect for me.

It is $19.97 now. So I grabbed another one as backup.

I am 5-10 and 220 lbs. Tried two sizes. L is perfect. XL is baggy.

The front chest pocket is just big enough to stash an iPhone 6 in a battery case in it with buttons snapped.

I bought 2 for myself and 1 for a gift. This is a Great deal for the quality. I am 5'8 260lbs and chest is 17 1/2 and size 48 Reg in suit jacket. XL was perfect size. Not puffy and just perfect style. I am a huge fan of blade runner so i love the neck collar closure.
