No love for this deal? I was considering this after skipping out on the recent 18mm Arc for $210. Looks like no in store pickup until mid January in my area though.

I posted and ordered the 18mm ARC because I didn't want to wait any longer for the 25mm table to come down. Couple of things, the 18mm table is heavy, almost 200 pounds in the box, this 25mm is almost 300 pounds. I opted for the delivery because I wanted it in the basement...the delivery guys wouldn't bring it even into the house. They just left it in the driveway, and delivery was 3 hours later than the window provided. Your experience might be different, but just letting you know mine. Pretty much most of the weight are the 2 halves, so you'll need a couple people to help you out loading it, carrying it, and bringing it into your house even if you take it out of the box.

Anyway, the 18mm is really nice and thick already, no issues with it. The blue top price went up a little but currently the Charcoal Grey is $229.99 minus the $20 coupon posted and it'll be down to $209.99.

I also just posted a Penn 18mm table from Walmart for $219 with free freight shipping.

Tracking this table too. Don't have a truck so waiting until total price with shipping for 25mm/1" model is down in $250 range.

You may not see it go much lower, lowest I've seen this was $240. Hope that helps out a little.

I bought one of these on a previous free cash deal. Table is awesome! The delivery charge is 70 bucks and totally not worth it. They won't bring it inside. This thing is heavy and the delivery would not bring it inside the door. I offered cash to the guys to bring it inside and they wanted $100 and wouldn't go any lower. That's on top of whatever Sears is paying them for the delivery fee. If you can do store pickup I would recommend you do that and hire some guys with a truck on Craigslist.

$499, $35 off 300, free shipping (!!) comes to $465 before tax. Not the cheapest it's been, but don't feel like waiting for it to go to $399 FS. Who knows what will happen with Sears going out of business.

The red one is good if you have a large vehicle for pickup. Otherwise $280 - $20 + $70 shipping = $330 for me.

any idea how these are packaged? everything in 1 box? have to figure out if it will fit in our SUV or if I will need to borrow the in-laws Tundra pickup...

I can't speak for the big 30mm one you quoted, but the 25mm table comes in 1 big box that won't even fit in a late model Honday minivan. I saw someone having to put it on top of their roof. I barely fit it in a fullsize Chevy truck bed. 300Lbs!

Alternatively, you can take everything out of the box to get it home... the table halves are easily to figure out - 5' (60") x 4.5' (54")x ~4 inches thick. It should fit inside a minivan. Not sure about SUVs though... You need to be careful to protect the delicate table tops from scratches during transportation... there are lots of cardboards from the packaging...

thanks! I actually ordered the 25mm red one that's on sale right now. sounds like i'll need the Tundra pickup for sure then... Hopefully Sears will stay in business long enough for me to actually pick it up!

but no, you don't need a full size truck. A mid-size pickup will work too, but the box will not be seated flat in the bed. It' is not ideal, but the packaging is decent enough to survive a short journey home.

I transported my table in the box flat on a full size Chevy truck and it just fit into the bed. If you don't mind opening up the box, an empty minivan would also work. But as I warned earlier, a table tennis top is very delicate. Make sure you protect it during transport and handling!

I a looking at same deal today and this is how it is panning out while I am on chat with agent.

Price $280 for 25mm Joola Table
Added 2 paddles to add $22.xx and bring total to $300.xx.
Then applied $35 off $300 to bring total down to $270.xx
Tax brought the grand total to $287.xx
Chatted with 2 chat agents, asked to offer special gratis of free shipping on table. Both said teh order total need to be $399 to get free shipping.
They instead offered to make an additional adjustment (refund) of $30 on cart total, which is expected in 3-5 days.

If that happens, my order total will come down to $257.xx which brought me 1x 25mm Joola table, and 2x Viper High Performance Table Tennis Rackets

I will rent a $20 Home Depot truck (75mins) that is across the road from Sears to bring its home that is 15mins away.

The entire order would cost me $277.xx.
