It does fold in half for hitting the ball against itself. Also seem to fold pretty thin for storage.
Thickness is 18mm... which is not the best, but should be ok for indoor and home use.
The best part is the free shipping. Note that the delivery people (not Walmart employees) may or may not move the heavy table up to your apartment or basement!

4-piece $106 (thickness not defined on the website, but goggle say 18mm) Cheap, 4-piece table top is not ideal, but ok for famly/beer-pong fun... best thing is that you can take it apart and move it in your car.
