Costco has 27 gallon totes for 6.99 which is same as Lowes BF price. Not sure why the image is coming as rotated.

Other threads have indicated these are slightly stronger than the some other 27 gallon totes (HD? Lowes?) with thicker plastic.

I would not use "Heavy Duty" to describe these at all. I use dozens of these sort of storage containers and after a few years the lids on these Costco ones start disintegrating. On the other hand the less expensive Contigo ones from the local Bi-Mart of the same size don't LOOK as heavy duty - but the lids and containers last twice as long... and these lids are water traps as well...

Item 718262 according to their business site

These are great and very sturdy. I've packed them full of books with no problem (well, other than breaking my back moving them, lol)

That's strange. I've had these for many years frequently accessed for camping gear and other items I load in the back of my truck and leave out in the elements. No issues with lids "disintegrating". Of the many types of storage bins I've used over the years, these are the best bang for the buck.
