H&R Block 2018 Online Tax Preparation FREE from MyFreeTaxes if you make less than $66,000 AGI

Free version with free federal/state filing will be available Jan 18.

This version is the same as H&R Block Deluxe. This is the full product and includes federal and state e-file.
"Sponsored by United Way and H&R Block, MyFreeTaxes has all of the features you're looking for — with none of the fees.

This free online version of H&R Block tax preparation can be used if your Adjusted Gross Income is less than $66,000. Adjusted gross income (AGI) is an individual's total gross income minus specific deductions. Taxable income is adjusted gross income minus allowances for personal exemptions and itemized deductions. For most individual tax purposes, AGI is more relevant than gross income.

So you could theoretically make much more than 66k/year as long as your AGI is less than $66,000 and still file for free with H&R Block.

So let's get started:

First, create an account at H&R Block:
https://idp.hrblock.com/idp/profi...ution=e2s2

Then visit:
https://www.myfreetaxes.com

Log in from myfreetaxes page.

Once you've started filing, look for the MyFreeTaxes logo on the top-left of your screen. This will be on every screen except your account creation page, and ensures you're filing with MyFreeTaxes and not one of H&R Block's paid products.

Enjoy.

Last year Taxact pissed me off with their stupid pricing games so I went looking for an alternative. Came across this Free H&R block online taxes and found it to be just as easy to use as Taxact. I have W2 wages, business income, rental property, and investments, and this Free version of H&R block handled it all.

Same here. I used TaxAct for years and then they got greedy.

This free version of H&R Block worked great for me. Most people just don't know about it.

It's $66k AGI, which means you can earn well over $100k, put a lot of it into tax deferred investments, have lots of depreciation, and come in below $66k.
