Great series from him. I'm a huge fan of his Cosmere books (Stormlight Archives in particular), but these books are great. Shorter in length but still creative and the characters are unique and have great depth for the length of the books. These are not high fantasy like his Cosmere books, but represent more of a journey into sci-fi for Sanderson.

I'm a huge Sanderson fan so I'm biased, but this is a fantastic series. One of his best imho, especially if you enjoy superhero type of stuff. I know it's YA but I think adults will enjoy it just as much.

These books are great. LIstened to the first on Audible on a 13 hour drive. Read the next two in two days. Great read for those that liked comics and sci-fi.

Apart from Stormlight, most of his stuff is YA in the Cosmere.

You could get both the Kindle versions and the Audible versions for $12 total, which seems like a great deal (I haven't listened to them yet, thus, the "seems").

I'm a big Sanderson fan and have read most of his stuff, but this series is the only one I didn't enjoy. It was just too juvenile for my taste. And I know a lot of his stuff might be considered YA, but this series is definitely geared towards a younger audience than something like Mistborn.
