This was $149 until yesterday. If you search for it, the $149 still shows up as unavailable but this one also appears with the same Model # KHT 2680-08 for $101.08 with free shipping.
You can also use Discover cashback to get a $100 e-gift Lowe's certificate for $90 cashback rewards if you save them for purchases like this (as I just did).
Good deal but too bad it's too heavy for me. I normally use 18V ryobi for trimming job since it's so light I can use it one hand like space marine's chain sword.
I went ahead and ordered, but now concerned I won't be able to find a battery. It doesn't look like Lowes carries the batteries anymore. Will the greenworks batteries work in this?
edit:
I found they still sell the 2.5 AH and 3 AH batteries, but not the 5 and 6 AH.

Find the FP $199 Kobalt 80v lawnmower from a little before BF. One poster linked to a couple of videos on how to mod the cases or the battery slot, internally they are identical. In fact after modding the batteries the chargers supposedly are interchangeable. Of course whichever way you go, you'll void the warranty on one component or the other. Weight is sadly a problem for me, as I have several herniated discs. The Ryobi 18v is adequate, very well made, light, but underpowered for heavier woody branches, so the power with this would have been nice.
